What I remember most is being encouraged to ask questions. My teachers made time to explain things, even when I needed another try. Working on small projects with friends gave me the confidence to keep learning, and that habit has stayed with me in my work.
I used to feel nervous speaking in front of a class. Taking part in school programmes, with a little encouragement from my teachers and friends, helped me find my voice. I left school with good memories, close friendships, and more confidence to try something new.
